Awards

Please click on the links below to nominate an interpreter or interpreting trainer who is an exemplary professional worthy of recognition!

Nominations are due by January 30, 2026. Recipients are chosen by the CHIA board. They receive a plaque and recognition at the conference.

Attire

Whilst CHIA does not impose a dress code, most attendees choose "business casual" for this event. We recommend comfortable shoes for moving from one session to another.

Did you know that we have CHIA t-shirts, hoodies and more available? Check out our merch!

ADA Accommodations

Requests for a disability accommodation for conference participation can be made upon registration. Note that the Mission Bay Conference Center or LUMA hotel should be notified separately of any necessary accommodation.

Special Meal Considerations

Special meal needs may be indicated during conference registration. CHIA will communicate these requests to the venue. While not all venues have Kosher kitchens, CHIA will make every effort to provide appropriate dietary options
